Australia is the perfect country to combine travel and study for students of all ages.
Our world-class cities are sophisticated and cosmopolitan. Our climate is warm and sunny almost all year round. We have a multi-cultural society that is tolerant and accepting of all races and religions. And, best of all, we’re a really friendly bunch.
Travelling around, you can experience everything from the vast Outback to our World Heritage listed Great Barrier Reef; from surfing beaches to lush rainforests; from Sydney Harbour and the Opera House to historic pubs in quaint country towns.
But perhaps most importantly, our education system is truly world standard. Our universities are recognised internationally and our tertiary qualifications are accepted by employers and other institutions all over the world. So it’s no surprise that education is one of our biggest export industries with international students making up more than 20% of Australian university enrolments.
First day in Australia
Discover the Gold Coast
Bond University is located on the Gold Coast – Australia's sixth largest city, situated on the country's beautiful east coast close to the Queensland/New South Wales state border. Within 10 minutes of our campus, you can be swimming and surfing at the beach … or browsing through one of our international shopping centres … or heading for a night out at Broadbeach or Surfers Paradise. You can visit our theme parks – Sea World, Movie World, Dreamworld, Wet ‘n’ Wild – World Heritage-listed rainforests, country villages, art galleries, wineries, world-class golf courses, the boating hub of the Broadwater and much, much more.
Bond University Student Housing caters for both domestic and international students. You may be far from home but you will never feel alone, surrounded by fellow students who are also getting used to life away from their families. We offer a range of Housing options on campus which includes a dining plan. This makes it easy to live and study on the Gold Coast. We also have an exceptional network of Homestay families. If you would prefer more independence, we have some suggested options for finding the perfect rental property close to campus.
Our on-campus accommodation rates include a dining plan, which is compulsory for all students living on campus. This flexible scheme allows you to use your Dining Card in any of the Bond University food outlets at any time of the day that suits you. You can grab something light and easy when you are busy and something substantial when you have more time. You can even pick up essentials at the Bond Express convenience store. The only thing you can’t purchase with your dining credits is alcohol. Learn more below.
