Experience Day - Health Simulation

Health Simulation Experience Day | Saturday, 5 September

As part of Bond’s commitment to our community’s health and safety, we have postponed the Health Simulation Experience Day to Saturday, 5 September.  Feel free to get in touch to arrange a phone or online consultation with the Future Students team.

Experience what it’s like to work as a healthcare professional

Experience what it is like to manage the care of real patients, from start to finish. Health Simulation Day is your chance to consult with clinical doctors, physiotherapists, dietitians, occupational therapists, biomedical and exercise scientists, and other allied health professionals, gaining a deep understanding of the different career options available in the health sciences.

Students will take the fictional role of a ‘Health Care Advisor’, working with patients to consolidate all their primary and allied health practitioner’s assessments, and provide the next steps going forward in the management of these patients.

You will work with the health team and individual patients to determine optimal courses of treatment for the best outcome.

The best way to learn is to immerse yourself in the situation, so come along and see what it’s like to work in a health professional team.

This event is complimentary and registrations are essential.

COVID-19 Safety

As part of Bond's commitment to our community's health and safety, the University is taking advice from both Federal and State authorities in responding to potential risks at all events.

All care and diligence will be taken in assuring the safety of guests visiting the campus.

Once on campus, you must maintain physical distancing, demonstrate hand and respiratory hygiene, and sanitise surfaces where possible after use (all amenities to do so will be provided).

i. Stay at home if unwell or have a cough, fever, sour throat, fatigue or shortness of breath
ii. Seek assistance with event officials if becoming unwell during the event
iii. Maintain physical distancing requirements is the individuals responsibility

What happens on Health Simulation Experience Day
