In 2017, Bond University's Centre for Professional Legal Education (CPLE) merged with the Centre for Legal Education (CLE). The CLE, established in 1992, was formerly based at the University of Technology Sydney and later Western Sydney University.
With the merger, the CPLE at Bond University inherited not only the CLE’s business name and goodwill but also a rich collection of resources. The collection includes an array of legal education resources including reports, papers, pamphlets, journals, as well as a selection of books dedicated to the subject. The collection includes previously uncatalogued works and materials that are held by only a handful of libraries across Australia.
