Meet our Bondies | Bianca Calder

In our first 30 years, almost 30,000 alumni have graduated from Bond University. To celebrate our 30th anniversary, we’re showcasing some of the past students who have paved the way for the next generation of Bondies.

Meet Bachelor of Laws (CRICOS 093922K) alumna Bianca Calder.

What is your current role?          

I am a Client Advisor and Legal Recruiter at Law Staff.

Where are you based?  

Brisbane CBD.

Why did you choose to attend Bond?     

The fast-tracked degree and community spirit.

What are your recollections of your time here? 

Very fun positive times, making new friends and studying hard.

How has being a Bond graduate helped you in your career?         

I have so many connections to other Bondies around Australia and the world. It is a real community.

What have been your career highlights so far?   

Placing people in their dream jobs. (In particular when they are a fellow Bondy)

What advice would you give to current Bondies?              

Embrace every moment. Enjoy being a university student and get involved in as much extracurricular as you can. Value the friendships you make because they will be lifetime friends.

What does it mean to you to be a Bondy?            

To be a part of a community not only during university as a student, but after as an alumni as well.

What is your favourite memory of Bond?             

Going to the National Cheerleader Championships with our cheer team in Sydney, Melbourne and then the USA.
