Nyombil Indigenous Support Centre
Mission & Purpose
In the spirit of reconciliation, Bond University acknowledges the Kombumerri people, the traditional Owners and Custodians of the land on which the University now stands. We pay respect to Elders past, present and emerging.
Established in 2012, the Nyombil Centre is dedicated to achieving the best educational, wellbeing, and life outcomes for our students. Our team seeks to build a supportive strength-based environment for our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students to thrive academically. By building resilience, nurturing creativity, and instilling a culture of lifelong learning, we hope to inspire students to successfully navigate the future of work and achieve their aspirations.
The Nyombil Centre is a place of learning and change with a dedicated team who will help you transition into university life and into the workforce. Our team deliver inclusive and culturally safe support programs and practices with a focus on empowering students to reach their full potential.
