Tomorrow’s lawyers need to know and understand much more than the law itself. They need to appreciate the law’s social, political and cultural contexts, and in particular how the law impacts and is impacted by both climate sustainability and Indigenous knowledges and experiences. In this session, Executive Dean of the Faculty of Law Professor Nick James and Assistant Professor of Law and proud Yuin woman Narelle Bedford will engage in a conversation about the intersection between contemporary legal practice, climate change, and the perspectives and experiences of First Nations people.
Meeting Location: BLD04_3_41
