Bond University is seeking to recruit educators with a strong interest in medical education and personal and social skill development to the role of Small Group Learning Facilitator.
These are casual positions, working with a team of Small Group Learning Facilitators who support the Small Group Learning Program and Professionalism and Leadership Domain. Core responsibilities of this team include the facilitation of medical student small group-based exploration of scenarios, the development of personal and social skills, and the development of active enquiry-based learning skills. Typically, this involves; the facilitation of a group of 7-10 medical students, participation in a facilitator Community of Practice, participation in assessment of student personal and social skill development and other related tasks.
These positions are available on an ‘as- needed’ basis to meet academic teaching requirements for the Bond medical program.
About the person
Successful applicants should hold a university level degree and ideally have knowledge of and experience in contemporary teaching and learning practice, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a commitment to providing high quality learning for Medical Students.
Salary details
Applicants will be remunerated in accordance with the Bond University Casual Academic pay scales. Please note, that hours for these roles are casual in nature and may vary depending on the operational requirements of the faculty.
