This program combines four in-person full-day workshops with four 90-minute online small group coaching sessions, offering a unique blend of group learning and personalised guidance. Dr Libby Sander | Assistant Professor & MBA Director | Bond University, Queensland, Australia

Libby is a leading thinker on understanding the future of work, and how we can re-imagine work to live more meaningful and creative lives. She has spoken at TEDx and is an Agenda Contributor at the World Economic Frum. She is the MBA Director and Assistant Professor of Organisational Behaviour at Bond University Libby has a PhD in Organisational Behaviour, and also holds a Masters Degree in Human Resource Management, Bachelor of Arts in Japanese, and Bachelor of Business. 

For over 20 years Libby has been sought out to consult to blue-chip multinationals, and to provide executive coaching for CEOs and leadership teams of some of the world’s leading organisations. 

She is well known for being able to identify the real issues and stories in organisations and draw them out to uncover opportunities and insight. Libby works with organisations including Google, KPMG, NAB, Lendlease, Tokyo Metropolitan Government, Hilton, and HP.

Dr Steve Bagi Teaching Fellow | Bond University, Queensland, Australia

Steve wears many hats, teaching various subjects at Bond University that revolve around leadership skills and team development. Beyond the classroom, Steve is a consulting psychologist dedicated to empowering leaders and staff to enhance their effectiveness through a strengths-based approach. He works with Corporate clients, Independent Schools and School Boards throughout Australia guiding them through strengths-based approaches to leadership development.

    ONE | Understanding Your Leadership Style
    Discover your unique leadership style and learn how to leverage your strengths to inspire and motivate others. Gain insights into self-awareness, the nature of leadership and leveraging personal strengths and values for effective leadership.

    TWO | Working Effectively with Others
    Explore strategies for building strong relationships and leading diverse teams. Learn the foundations of effective teamwork, which requires a commitment to collaboration, strong communication skills including feedback, difficult conversations, and storytelling, and the ability to navigate conflict within a supportive team environment.

    THREE | Fostering Positive Workplace Culture and Collaboration
    Understand the role of leadership in shaping organisational values and behaviours. Develop strategies to overcome professional challenges by fostering personal and organisational well-being, developing emotional intelligence, and maintaining long-term vision and passion.

    FOUR | Strategies for Leading Change
    Equip yourself with the tools to lead change initiatives with confidence. Learn to navigate the complexities of change management, influencing the decision-making processes and implementing sustainable improvements for long-term impact.

  • This course is ideal for professionals in leadership roles or those aspiring to take on leadership responsibilities. Whether you're an emerging leader or a seasoned executive, this program will provide valuable insights and practical tools to enhance your leadership effectiveness.

  • Upon completion of this course you will be able to:    

    1. Analyse the core drivers of human nature, including personality, values, and cultural influences, and assess one's position in relation to these drivers.
    2. Identify strategies for building and managing effective teams, including commitment, balance, and addressing gaps.
    3. Develop approaches for fostering team engagement and healthy dynamics, including conflict resolution, communication, and managing virtual teams.
    4. Compare different leadership styles and distinguish between leadership and management while exploring strategies for empowerment, effective decision-making, and personal growth as a leader.
