Professional biography
Research interests
Prior to joining the Bond Law Faculty in January 2008, I taught at the University of Natal, Griffith University, QUT and at Bond University as an Adjunct member of staff. I have also taught at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. I have won awards for both my teaching and my research.
I have worked in the Tax department of one of the largest global accounting firms, and maintain strong links with the profession. I am a Chartered Tax Adviser, and an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
I am a member of the Australasian Tax Teachers Association, of the Tax Research Network (UK) and of the Society of Legal Scholars (UK). I am a member of the Women Lawyers Association of Queensland, and an Associate member of the Queensland Law Society. I am a member of the International Fiscal Association.
I am a General Editor of the Bond Revenue Law Journal, and a Senior Teaching and Research Member of the Bond University Faculty of Law’s Dispute Resolution Centre
I was formerly a Fellow of the Tim Fischer Centre for Global Trade and Finance, the Director of Taxation Research at the Bond University Centre for Law, Governance and Public Policy, and a Senior Research Fellow, Department of Business Law and Taxation, Monash University.
My research interests lie in the international tax area, especialy in relation to transfer pricing, tax treaties and dispute resolution in international tax.
