Meet Our Alumni

"I decided to study at bond for a number of reasons, but the two primary reasons were the compressed trimester scheduling and the excellent international reputation of the school.

My Bond experience was exceptional. I lived in off campus housing but was involved in as much campus life as possible. I had the opportunity to network and make countless new friends and future business or academic contacts. The school is an international hub of the best and brightest, and the environment fosters a sense of community and school pride. Between the countless free school events, non-stop activities and well funded athletics I was able to make much more out of my post graduate studies as an older student than I ever did as an undergraduate student during my first degree in Canada.

I have completed a masters certificate program and have recently begun further studies at Bond in the JD program. I am currently the CFO of a law firm in Calgary Alberta that I started prior to embarking on my studies at Bond, and while here made some exceptional connections that gave rise to a finance start up that was developed and is run by fellow Bondies.

Without a question, the student experience at Bond is prioritized and every student, whether a study abroad, undergraduate, or postgraduate will feel that. I felt like a student ID number at my undergraduate university. I received an undergraduate degree from a large well respected university that is well known for its high academic performance. Unfortunately, I didn’t feel heard, nor welcome and sat in massive lecture halls with very little access to the professor. It was a very de-personalized experience, but I still respect the quality of the education I received. At Bond, you get both, and more. You get exceptional academics with an unbelievable wealth of resources that will keep you busy, well fed (read lots of free campus BBQ’s), active (state of the art gym facility), and academically engaged. You need to do an entire degree here just to make the most out of everything available to you, and the individualized support and ultra small class sizes is unlike anything other universities of this calibre have to offer. This school has one of the highest teacher to student ratios and it can certainly be felt in the active and engaging lectures and very involved tutorials and seminars."
