Healthcare Innovations: How innovation is transforming the healthcare sector

About this program

The Graduate Certificate in Health Systems will positively challenge the way professionals understand and work within Australian and international health systems. The way in which the diverse population interacts with and uses healthcare services will be explored to promote equitable systems. Professionals will be facilitated to compare and benchmark health systems and identify opportunities for evidence-informed innovations.

 The Graduate Certificate can be completed for up to sixteen months part-time. Two core subjects and two elective subjects must be selected.

What you'll be studying

  • Study overview

    Over the course of this program’s four subjects, you will develop the skills necessary to find, critically appraise and apply research evidence to population, community, and individual health needs. Additionally, you will gain a deeper understanding of Australia’s health system and will be facilitated to evaluate and compare across other health systems and practices. You will explore ways to innovate, improve and lead changes within complex systems.

  • Degree flexibility

    The Graduate Certificate in Health Systems provides you with the option to complete the program full-time (four months) or part-time (eight months). Course material is offered using blended learning approaches from face-to-face workshops to self-paced online modules, so your studies can fit seamlessly into your professional and personal schedules.

  • A degree unique to you

    Tailor your degree to further expand your knowledge and skills in an area of interest by selecting two elective subjects covering a range of topics.

  • Further study pathways

    Upon completion of the program, you will be well-placed to progress to further studies with Bond’s program of Healthcare Innovations, receiving full credit for the subjects studied in this program.
