Research support

Bond University offers an unparalleled environment for academic and student researchers who are inspired by the opportunity to investigate, innovate and discover new ways of doing.

Our personalised approach to teaching extends to our diverse and inclusive research community where you’ll find world-renowned experts stepping forward as colleagues and mentors to share their knowledge, advice and industry connections.

You’ll also have access to a dedicated team of administrative and advisory staff who provide support through the full life cycle of your research journey – from planning and funding through to publication and presentation.

Support resources

All research involving human interaction – whether that be collecting personal experiences, data or human tissue – must be approved by the Bond University Human Research Ethics Committee (BUHREC). Our Research Ethics Office can guide you through the application and review process to ensure your methodologies meet the principles of research merit, integrity, justice, beneficence and respect.

The Committee meets three times per semester to review and approve applications.

Training and professional development

Teaching academics are fully supported in their research endeavours through a package of considerations including non-teaching semesters, extended research leave, upskilling, supervisor support sessions and more.

Student and academic researchers will also benefit from access to global university and industry networks, leading directly to opportunities for future collaborations, research extensions and career prospects.
