Ethics support
All research involving human interaction – whether that be collecting personal experiences, data or human tissue – must be approved by the Bond University Human Research Ethics Committee (BUHREC). Our Research Ethics Office can guide you through the application and review process to ensure your methodologies meet the principles of research merit, integrity, justice, beneficence and respect.
The Committee meets three times per semester to review and approve applications.

Pre-award funding
The Office of Research Services is available to help you identify the best research funding opportunities to suit your project. Our team will work with you to prepare a proposal and create a grant application that addresses all compliance criteria.

Post-award funding
Our post-award support team works with researchers to help manage the lifecycle of your research project. This ranges from the initial preparation of a contract to final delivery of reportable outcomes and project acquittal, including all timelines and benchmarks along the way.

Research information management
As a researcher at Bond, you’ll have access to Pure – one of the world’s leading Research Information Management Systems. Pure promotes Bond’s research excellence, impact to the broader community and underpins many University processes, such as our Excellence in Research for Australia (ERA) reporting obligations, grant submissions and other research-based applications and funding body provisions.

Principal Supervisor Accreditation Program (PASP)
The PSAP offers a defined pathway to HDR supervision. The year-long workshop-based program is available to appropriately qualified, research active-academics who wish to be accredited as a Principal Supervisor and added to Bond University’s Principal Supervisor register.

Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) Network
Bond’s SoTL network fosters a collegial and collaborative environment where academics from across the University meet regularly to discuss research ideas related to developing teaching and learning publications. The network is targeted particularly to early-career, mid-career and teaching-focussed academics who want to explore potential research concepts and learn from what others are doing.
