ADCO Sports Excellence Scholarship

Overview

At Bond, we look beyond academic achievement when searching for our next leading business executive, film producer, Olympian or senior legal counsel. The ADCO Sports Excellence Scholarship celebrates this by awarding full-fee sporting scholarships to outstanding sports men and women from around Australia with the chance to help fund their tertiary studies.

These scholarships open the door to applicants with high achievements in the sporting arena to our personalised education, fast-tracked degree options and small classes.

Applications for 2025 entry closed on Thursday, 1 August, 2024.

Being an ADCO Sports Excellence Scholar

As an ADCO Sports Excellence Scholar, you will be awarded with 100% tuition remission for any, single undergraduate degree* or single postgraduate degree* and you would commence in the following January semester.

In addition, as an undergraduate applicant receiving an ADCO Sports Excellence Scholar, you will also receive a living allowance of $10,000 per year, pro rata for part-time students, to a maximum of $20,000. The cash bursary may be used as you wish however it is intended to be spent on accommodation, food, sporting equipment, participation in sporting events and training, Student Services and Amenities Fee and textbooks.

What are the obligations of this scholarship?

As an ADCO Sports Excellence Scholar, you will be required to:

  1. Represent Bond University in your chosen sport where reasonably possible. For example: UniSport Nationals, World University Games, Club Sport.
  2. Attend Bond University’s annual Blues Awards.
  3. Update the University with your sporting achievements and allow Bond University to promote these achievements.
  4. Promote ADCO and Bond University wherever relevant during your sporting activities or media opportunities.
  5. Update ADCO and the University of your academic and sporting progress on a semester basis.
  6. Apply to become a member of Bond's Elite Sport Program (BESP) and meet with the BESP Manager during each semester of study.
