Bull Sharks AFL teams will get their teeth into some serious celebrations on Friday as they wrap up a stunning season in which every side secured a finals berth.

The 2022 QAFL season saw Bond’s senior women’s team finish third and the senior men fourth, while both the women’s and men’s reserves squads finished second in their competitions.

At the awards night, players will be recognised for their efforts throughout the season, with gongs for leading goal kicker, goal of the year and mark of the year.

Senior club champions and reserves best and fairest will also be revealed at the special celebration at The Star.

Each award is based on coaches’ votes from each game throughout the season, with the final tally to be revealed on the night.

Women’s seniors in the running for club champion include Caitlyn Thorne, Courtney Sexton, Annie Muir and Georgia Hutton.

In contention for the men’s senior club champion are Jack Tilley, Matthew Smith, Nathan Rataj and Jayden Pengelley.

Women’s reserves player Boston Jackson won the 2022 QAFLW best and fairest and is also in contention for the Bond club champion alongside Ellie Taylor, Abbey Bevan and Amelia Cronin.

Men’s reserves players Blake Spencer, Adam Forward, Hamish Hoober and Charles Hocking are hot tips for the reserves award.
