AUST11-101: Deep Time Dreaming

Description

What can we learn from the ancient geological origins and enduring cultural heritage of Australia, and how do these shape our understanding of the world and ourselves?  Immerse yourself in the story of the world's oldest continuous human culture, the Indigenous Australians, and discover their profound contributions to art, social structures, belief systems, and the resilience of their heritage in the face of colonisation. Whether you have a passion for History, Geography, Environmental and Natural Sciences, Anthropology, Archaeology, Palaeontology, or Social and Cultural Studies, this subject provides you with an opportunity to expand your understanding of the continent's history and its first inhabitants. You will have the opportunity to participate in an on-country experience and learn alongside the traditional custodians of the Gold Coast region.
