Description
Working in a management position anywhere in the world involves a duty of care to provide a safe environment for workers and customers. In this subject, you will learn about the types of health and safety risks found in hospitality, sport, tourism and other service sector environments and about management responsibilities in relation to risks in the workplace. You will learn about the international standard for risk management (ISO 31000) and will apply the principles and process embodied in ISO 31000 to a variety of real-world business cases.
