Description

Climate Law in Context is an elective subject in undergraduate programs offered by the Faculty of Law. This introductory level law subject investigates the scientific, regulatory, philosophical and cultural contexts of the law applying to climate change and its implications. This subject prepares students for more advanced examinations of climate change and climate law in other subjects.

Learning outcomes

  1. Demonstrate introductory level knowledge of climate law and its scientific, regulatory, philosophical and cultural contexts.
  2. Demonstrate introductory level research, reasoning, and communication skills in the application of climate law to particular climate change related issues.
  3. Demonstrate the ability to apply climate law knowledge and research, reasoning, and communication skills to plan and execute a substantial research project.
