About the Position 

This is an outstanding opportunity for a suitably qualified person to join the Faculty of Society & Design at an exciting time of growth and development. Bond University - Faculty of Society and Design.

We are seeking suitably qualified and experienced candidates to teach on a sessional basis into our Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs in the field of Counselling. Applicants for this position will need to be available for the starting date of 4th September 2024.

The position/s will be offered as Semester Teaching Fellow appointments. Teaching Fellows are teaching focussed and may also be required to participate in related service activities. Teaching duties include all aspects of subject delivery including preparing high quality subject and learning support materials; conducting face to face teaching; being available for consultation with students; designing and marking assessments; finalising grades; and undertaking administrative duties related to teaching.

About the person

The successful candidate will have the following:

  • A master’s degree or PhD in a relevant field such as Counselling
  • Proven track record of teaching excellence in the field of Counselling, having previously taught at the tertiary level
  • Availability to teach on campus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Collegiate and effective team player

Salary details

Applicants will be remunerated in accordance with the Bond University Casual Academic pay scales. This role will be approximately 6 hours per week contact time (plus associated working time) depending on the operational requirements of the Faculty.
