About the Position

The Faculty of Health Sciences and Medicine welcomes applications from highly skilled administrators, to apply for the position of Curriculum Officer within the Curriculum and Accreditation Team.

Reporting to the Manager - Curriculum and Accreditation, this position’s primary responsibilities will be to provide high-level support for the faculty’s accreditation of programs and curriculum administration to ensure the smooth, effective, and efficient operation of the Faculty and the Faculty’s Programs, including:

  • Point of co-ordination for the faculty in all aspects of program accreditation.
  • Accreditation report documentation, site visits and annual reports for accreditation for faculty programs.
  • Day-to-day curriculum administration tasks in support of program delivery.
  • Program evaluation processes and reporting requirements; and
  • Secretariat support to relevant Faculty Committees and Program Committees.

 The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

  • Significant experience in a similar or comparable administrative role, working effectively as part of a team while contributing to team outcomes.
  • Ability to analyse and interpret data and to co-ordinate stakeholder input, with well-developed problem-solving skills, while maintaining continuous improvement values.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (written and oral) skills with exceptional attention to detail, and high-level IT literacy skills and competency across the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills, including the ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines, and demonstrate flexibility in dealing with conflicting demands without compromising standards of service and quality.

Salary details

The salary for the position commences at $80,787.14 (Full Time Equivalent) per annum, plus 12% superannuation.

Please note: The fixed term of this employment contract will be for up to two years, with twelve months' probation. The prospect of conversion to a continuing employment contract will be discussed at the end of the contract term.
