Library facilities

The John & Alison Kearney Library, also known as the Main Library, is where most of the action happens – at least, when it comes to all of the traditional library activities like borrowing books, using computers and doing detailed research! With a team of librarians on-hand during key support hours, you’ll be able to find the resources you need to support your assignments and exam study. 

The Main Library also boasts stellar facilities, including quiet study areas, group study rooms and computers for student use. Plus, you will be able to fuel up ahead of your studies with a coffee or a sandwich, as the Main Library also houses the campus-favourite Papyrus Cafe in its lobby. 

Consultations with librarians are available for students to book at most times throughout the semester. Librarians can assist both in-person and virtually, providing help and support across an array of queries including literature searching, finding appropriate sources, reference management and more.

A unique, technology-rich hub for both study and creativity, the Balnaves Foundation Multimedia Learning Centre (MLC) provides all Bond students with access to collaboration-friendly study spaces, premium audio-visual technologies and a range of specialised facilities, including the Studio and 12 Digital Media Stations. This is the perfect place to study, alone or in a group, but it also serves as a highly collaborative and practical space for working on big projects across a range of study areas. 

The Studio

The Studio is an innovative space for content creation and production, equipped with everything you need to put big ideas into motion, including a green screen, cameras, 3-point production lighting, a teleprompter, audio capture, virtual reality (VR) hardware and monitors. 

Digital Media Stations

12 high-end PCs and Mac Pros provide students with access to a range of digital media production softwares, including editing, 3D modelling, animation and CAD software.
