Dux award for US student after separation heartache

A US student who made the difficult choice to remain at her studies in Australia during the pandemic has collected the Vice Chancellor’s Dux Award at Bond University. Tatiana Carter has been separated from her parents in Guam since December 2019 but secured the academic accolade with the highest grade point average of her cohort.

Finally some good news for journalism graduate

Kimberley Bernard always wanted to be a journalist but didn’t count on being in the news herself when her house burned down during her last semester. Despite the trauma, the Communications student graduated Valedictorian of her faculty and landed her dream job at ABC Gold Coast.
