Supporting the community since 1999
The Bond University Psychology Clinic has been providing counselling services to the Gold Coast community since 1999. As of January 2024, the Psychology Clinic will now sit within a broader network of allied health services offered at the Bond University Health and Wellness Clinic (BUHAWC). Clients can continue to access essential psychological and counselling services and benefit from a range of additional allied health services, including physiotherapy, nutrition and dietetics, and occupational therapy.
This is a full-service teaching and training clinic where our psychology master's students complete their practical internship placements under the supervision of world-renowned psychology professors and practitioners. Our interns are all provisionally registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA) and have completed the equivalent of four years of psychology training. The placements undertaken at the Bond University Health and Wellness Clinic represent the final step before they move into professional practice.
The Psychology Clinic welcomes clients ranging from children to adolescents to adults and families. No referral is necessary. With a wide range of healthcare services available at the clinic, Bond counsellors can connect clients to additional support services where needed, both within BUHAWC and through our external network of professional healthcare providers.
