Equity at Bond
At Bond, we recognise the important role universities play in supporting students to achieve their personal and professional aspirations. We are committed to ensuring students from a range of backgrounds and abilities have access to a standout study experience, and the opportunity to fully participate in student life at Bond.
Supporting students with disabilities
We support an accessible, inclusive and diverse study environment that provides all students, including Bondies with disabilities, with personalised, flexible, well-supported and industry-relevant learning opportunities.
Our Accessibility and Inclusion Action Plan lays the foundation for creative and responsive solutions and support for students. It outlines a number of strategies to ensure that future students with disabilities gain access to the University on the same basis as those without disabilities, and that their journey to success at Bond is underpinned by accessible support and reasonable adjustments.
Scholarships and financial aid
Bond’s scholarship program awards high-achieving students at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Spanning a range of areas, scholarships reward and recognise students who have excelled in academia, leadership, community and sport. Scholarships and bursaries are also offered to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students, made possible by funds raised through our benefactors and corporate partners.
Beyond scholarships, Bond has established the Student Hardship Grant, designed to support individual students during periods of unexpected financial hardship. This grant is supported by donations from our generous alumni, community members, partners, and the University itself.
