Accepting PhD StudentsResearch interests
My research examines how everyday consumption shapes individual and societal wellbeing, with a particular focus on the emotional, psychological, and social outcomes that arise from consumer choices. My work also explores the mechanisms of persuasion—how messages, environments, and interactions influence attitudes and behavior—and how these processes can be leveraged to support healthier, more sustainable, and more fulfilling consumption practices. Blending rigorous empirical methods with an interest in real‑world impact, my research aims to inform marketing strategies and public policy while offering insights that help consumers lead more meaningful lives.Qualifications

Statement for HDR students
I am interested in consumer focused research projects. Projects that explore how consumers interpret marketing and persuasive messages, and how these messages influence attitudes and behaviour in real world contexts are of particular interest to me. Students interested in examining the intersection of consumer psychology, persuasion, and behaviour change are welcome to discuss potential projects that use these lenses to address meaningful marketing and societal chaIlenges. I am also interested in evidence synthesis, in particular meta-analysis, as a tool to synthesize piecemeal literature and explore the generalizability and moderating effects of existing research findings.
