Bachelor of Business/ Bachelor of Laws

Program overview

Our fast-track trimester timetable makes it easy to tackle a double degree at Bond. In fact, you can complete two degrees here in less time than you could graduate with just one at most other universities.

Bond’s Bachelor of Business and Bachelor of Laws double degree takes just 3 years 8 months (11 semesters).

The combination of business and law lays the groundwork for an almost unlimited selection of career options in the corporate, finance, legal, government and community sectors. You will have the full suite of skills in business management, entrepreneurship, human resources, and communication, along with complementary skills in negotiation, mediation, dispute resolution, advocacy, and legal know-how.

The business element of the program covers accounting, economics, finance, and marketing, as well as the opportunity to research, create, launch, and run a real business through Bond’s unique Business Model Generation and Execution subjects. You will have access to the Bond Business Accelerator bootcamp, and our Innovation Workshop Series run by the Commercialisation Centre, as well as Bond’s FinTech Hub equipped with 40 live Bloomberg terminals.

Your law studies cover all the compulsory subjects required for your pathway for admission to legal practice in Australia, plus the opportunity to specialise in an area of interest. You will develop advanced ‘lawyering’ skills in legal writing and reasoning, oral communication, advocacy, dispute resolution, negotiation, research, legal ethics, and professionalism.

Hear from our Bondies

  • "I credit the progress that I’ve made so far in my short career to my education at Bond. When I graduated, I had already gained significant experience in a range of legal and professional environments which put me in a position to launch myself straight into a career. I found that I had the edge with employers being a Bond student, as they regarded my practical skills and industry experience highly."
