Hancock Prospecting Swimming Excellence Scholarship

To be eligible to apply for this scholarship, you must:

• Be an Australian student eligible to represent Australia in swimming.  
• Be currently swimming at a very elite level.  
• Hold strong leadership skills and have proven community involvement.  
• Meet the academic requirements for your selected program.  

Recipients will be chosen in conjunction with Swimming Australia.  

Please note, this scholarship has not been confirmed for 2025 entry.

If you meet the eligibility criteria for this scholarship, we encourage you to apply by following the below steps:

1. Complete the Bond University Study Application Form to lodge your application for your chosen program. Learn more about this process.
2. Complete the Bond University Scholarship Application Form. Simply use the same log-in details as used for your study application and enter 'scholarship' in the keyword field on the 'Start an Application' tab.  

You must complete and submit your scholarship application before the application closing date as no late scholarship applications will be considered! 

Yes! As a Hancock Prospecting Swimming Excellence Scholarship applicant, you will be required to submit the following documents as part of your scholarship application:

• Evidence of your leadership, initiative, and service to your school and/or community. If you are a diploma or undergraduate applicant, it is a COMPULSARY component of your application to use our Summary of Achievements template to present this evidence. You will need to complete all sections of the template provided and upload it as one Word or PDF document, to your scholarship application. 
  Your application CANNOT be considered if you provide your evidence in any other form, such as a personal CV or resume.
• A personal statement stating why you should be chosen for this scholarship. Required for postgraduate applicants only.
• A detailed sport CV highlighting all sporting achievements.  
• At least two relevant references from individuals who can support sporting achievements (please upload to your scholarship application as one Word or PDF document). 

Yes! We encourage you to apply for as many scholarships as you are eligible for. This should all be done in the one scholarship application form. You will only be considered for the scholarships you have applied for so ensure you have included them all in your application before you submit it!

If you are applying for more than one scholarship with different application closing dates, it is important to submit your scholarship application form by the earliest scholarship closing date. 

Applications are now open and will close on 29 November, 2024.
