This subject provides students with the opportunity to bring their quantitative mathematical skills up to a standard that is required for future studies at Bond University. It also provides new material that is essential to understanding business-related problems.

FE2 will use the English language in a variety of contexts to further develop students' analytical and critical thinking skills. Individual and group work will form part of the continued learning of English and the subject will reflect both the learning environment and the processes and activities students experience in a degree or academic study program.

Read moreIn Communication and Culture 1, students will explore the relationship between communication and culture, examining cultural perspectives in media and the critical role of audience, rhetoric and representation. Students will also develop the knowledge, skills and attributes that characterise academic communication and culture, with a particular focus on academic research, writing and referencing and the importance of academic integrity, in preparation for studying in an Australian university environment.

Through analysis of relevant case studies and literary works, grounded in cultural context, students will explore themes of conflict, dispossession and alienation across different cultures and develop an appreciation of diverse perspectives.
