We are looking forward to welcoming you to Bond University College.
Here are the next steps you will need to complete before commencing study. If you need assistance, please contact the Bond IT Service Desk.
Step 1. Activate your IT account and student email account
Your IT account gives you access to MyBond, eStudent (Bond University’s online enrolment tool), your student email account and campus Wi-Fi. If you need assistance, or are having trouble activating your account, please contact the Bond IT Service Desk.
Step 2. Set up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
Enabling multi-factor authentication is mandatory for all staff and student IT accounts.
Bond University is committed to providing best practice cyber security protections for staff and students. With over 60% of reported data breaches in Australia being caused by compromised credentials multi-factor authentication is a critical component in the protection of Bond's information assets.
Please register for multi-factor authentication by using this link: https://aka.ms/ssprsetup
Once registered, the Microsoft Authenticator app on your mobile device can also be used for Self-Service Password Reset and will provide passwordless sign-in capability to Bond IT services in the near future.
If you haven't pre-registered using the link above, you will be prompted to register for multi-factor authentication when you log in for the first time.
For more information, including setup instructions, visit: https://bond.edu.au/mfa
Note: If you have a second mobile device, such as an iPad/tablet, you should add a 2nd sign-in method. This is useful as it provides a backup option in case your primary mobile device is unavailable. You can register a maximum of five devices.
Step 3. Upload your photo to CaptureME
Whether you are studying on campus or remotely, you must upload your photo to the CaptureME portal.
Please upload your photo using this link: https://studentid.bond.edu.au/
Your photo will be used for identification purposes on Bond's Student Learning Management System (iLearn), and for your student ID card.
If you are studying remotely, you can collect your ID card when you are able to arrive on campus.
If you are living on campus, attending on-campus classes and/or require access to on-campus facilities (e.g. library, Multimedia Learning Centre, Sports Centre), you will require a Student ID card. Once your photo has been approved through CaptureME, you can collect your Student ID card from Student Assist in the main library during Orientation Week.
You can access MyBond and eStudent
MyBond facilitates single sign on to all systems for current students such as iLearn, eStudent and Library. You should download the MyBond app for your mobile devices and save the MyBond website address as your internet browser homepage or bookmark it as your favourite for single sign on and simple navigation around all Bond University systems and information.
