The Indigenous Student Mentoring and Tutoring program is a free peer assisted learning program provided by students for students enrolled in a Diploma or Undergraduate program at Bond University. How can tutors help me?
Please note the Indigenous Student Mentoring and Tutoring program is supplementary support with the aim of enabling you to develop your skills and knowledge. The role of our tutors is not to teach nor give you the answers. Rather, our tutors are trained and equipped to offer you the tools and guidance necessary for their mentees to find the answers themselves. Our mentors strive to make this process for students, however, much more seamless, and less overwhelming - by offering experiential insight, personal strategies/tips and tricks that work, in conjunction with ongoing feedback, support, and encouragement.
Please supplement this service with regular consults with your academic and make an appointment at the Academic Skills Centre:

How can tutors help me?
Our tutors take a strengths-based approach to assist with all of your study needs and ease your transition into Bond.
Currently, eligible students may access up to 2 hours per week per subject of tutorial assistance during the teaching period. Where required, a limited number of additional hours can be made available to assist with final assessments each semester.
Typically, tutoring is one-to-one however, small group sessions may also be negotiated. Sessions are arranged at a mutually agreeable time and place either on-campus or virtually through the Limitless Learning app. For on-campus tutoring, students and tutors have access to the Nyombil Centre or other study spaces around campus such as the main library or the business commons.
